Statistics are back

After quite some time, we have been able to restore the statistics service on our server. The old scripts and database structure were a mess and could not handle the increasing amount of data we collected over time. Sorry that it took us so long to fix this issue. But now, the new service should be able to cope with even more usage data, so bring on some new users to let us prove it :-).

Follow this link to see the usage statistics:

Down for maintenance

Our new servers just arrived and we will take down our old ones to migrate their content. This might take a while! Thus our web pages and the Statistics, Earlgrey, and Comha server might be unavailable for a few days.

Down for maintenance

Due to some maintenance work, we have to take our servers offline for a while (some hours). Servers should be back this evening.

Probably Offline 25.8.-28.8.

Our web server and filter servers will probably be offline for the weekend. There is some maintenance work going on at ETH Zurich (where everything is hosted)... But I'm not sure if we are affected.

S4T on addons.mozilla.org

The Thunderbird extension for Spamato has been published on the official add-ons page of the mozilla.org project: https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/2738/

There is no difference to the version on SourceForge. But it is a second distribution channel to push it to the users. Additionally, Spamato4Thunderbird will now automatically be updated through the Mozilla service.

Another 100

Thanks to many downloads and a high forum activity since our last release the Spamato project is now a 'top 100' SourceForge project (actually, place 80) with an activity level of 99.95% :-).

We hope to keep this level for a while. Download Spamato and give us feedback! Post your comments to our forums or file a bug report or a feature request.

100 and counting...

For the first time in its life, Spamato has taken the '100' users border. That is: 100 people have been using Spamato in the last week as can be seen on our Statistics page:

http://www.spamato.net/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=55

We hope to get our 1000th user soon :-)...

BTW: Later this week, we will also celebrate a '99': version 0.99 of Spamato will be released (hopefully) by friday this week.... read more
