SpagoBI joins ObjectWeb consortium and the project is now hosted on ObjectWeb forge (http://forge.objectweb.org/projects/spagobi/).

Coming with that move we release the SpagoBI 1.4.0 version, also with new packages:
* SpagoBITest: unit test components for the SpagoBI core;
* SpagoBIDemo, to download an executive training environment;
* SpagoBI iReport plug-in, for the iReport dialog with SpagoBIs CMS.... read more

SpagoBI is now available. Starting from the release 1.0.0, SpagoBI supports reporting and dimensional analysis management, the approval workflow of the documents, their versioning, their parametric activation and their usage according to the user rights.
Main functionalities are:
Administration functionalities (engines configuration, functionalities management, documents configuration);
Development functionalities (presentation modalities, controls to apply to the inserted values, parameters registration, registration and management of the documents);
Testing functionalities (pre-release validation);
End-user functionalities (use of the registered documentations according to the pre-defined role);
JasperReports engine integration
OLAP Jpivot/Mondrians engine integration.
A Demo is available too, provided of a short user guide, supporting a free use of all the released functionalities.
