I can't figure out how to return in the console window the time value in the WAV file which silence effect knows when it finds my signal. for example sox <input file> <output file> silence -l 1 5 0.5% remove 15 milliseconds from the beginning file, because that's where the signal begins. how do I make this 15 ms value to display in my console window (or better yet, piped into an output file which I can then read with another program)? I use Win 8.1 For now I just want to get this to work. But later I want to further complicate this by checking if the signal has the frequency of "440Hz", and if not, keep searching forward until this note is encountered and return the corresponding time value. -- View this message in context: http://sox.10957.n7.nabble.com/returning-time-of-signal-onset-after-silence-tp5473.html Sent from the SoX mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
