soapUI version: 1.7.5
JRE: 1.5.0_10

When editing a test request, the width of the Request panel is not set correctly. It seems that this width is set according to the size of the first line. However, if you have bigger lines afterward, the size of the window is too short and you do not see the end of the text (The scrollbar does not allow me to go pass the first line size)

The size of panel should be defined according to the longest line in the request, not the first line.

Thanks
François

    Hi!

hmm.. I can only reproduce this if there are tab-characters in the "longer" line (instead of regular spaces).. is that your case also?

    regards!

    Hi,

Indedd, I use tab to format my lines because the content of the parameter is XML. If I remove the tab, the line size is set correctly and I can see all my lines.
Is there a way to have my request XML nicely indented without having to type 5 spaces instead of a tab?

    François
