I was revisiting how I would set up my program to create/store/update all the massive amounts of data associated with the graphics/objects.
Then the idea came to me; I'm not dealing with a flat file, but rather a database. The form I would use to create/update/delete the information associated with the tiles would incredibly similiar to a form used in a database.
Maybe that idea has something to do with me taking a database class this semester. I really need to take the time to work out all those tables. I wanna keep this file portable across the different operating systems this game will compiled for. Guess I need to talk my database professor and ask how to set it up to make it work on multiple platforms.
