hi everyone, i'm newbie, i would like to add a timestamp to snoopy, someone ccan tell me how to do this? i'm using snoopy to log command execution and i use logwatch to get the logs via email in my email account, the entries in the mail log look like this:
snoopy: [root, uid:0 sid:5105]: groups
snoopy: [root, uid:0 sid:5105]: id -Gn
snoopy: [root, uid:0 sid:5105]: lesspipe
i want to add the date for evey entry, how can i do that?
Configure your syslog to do it. Or use alternate logging daemon, syslog-ng does this for example.
