Does it happen to you with all videos?

Because quick audio switch only works with some formats: avi, mkv and dvds (I don't remember if there are more). With others, ogm for instance, doesn't work.
That's not a smplayer's bug, simply mplayer doesn't switch the audio track, I can do nothing.

In Mplayer, video is stopped then started from beginning when changing audio track on the fly.
This can be implemented easily in smplayer. It's much better than do stop/start manually.

Unchecking the option "Fast audio track switching" in Preferences->Performance, does that.

Does changing the audio track in that ogm file work in mplayer alone? (Key "#")

If it doesn't work either, then it's not a smplayer bug.

The trouble is it won't even (automatically) change the track according to the prefered language setting with .ogm files. You have to switch manualy and then stop/play. Maybe it would be possible to add some hack that autostops/restarts ogm files if there is a prefered language setting in the configuration... but that wouldn't be very pretty...

"Fast audio track switching" set to "No" should fix the problem of changing the audio in ogm files.

For the preferred language, it has to match one of the language names reported by the file.
