Try turning off debugging and all those other params that adds overhead...
Remember ALSO to link against the SmartWin VERSION that is compiled without debugging...
(in VS link against SmartWin.lib instead of SmartWinD.lib)

Howdy, I am not really sure what your question is, but if you think 375 KB is too big I have no other answer than "that's probably right!"...
Tell us which compiler version you use.
It's been a while since I wrote that stuff, but at the time I used Visual C++ version 7.1 with all debugging turned off and all optimization turned on!
The library might be bigger today, probably mainly because it now heavily relies upon boost for e.g. sending signals and stuff like that...
Though for any serious C++ development you'd probably want to include at least parts of boost anyway since it'll most probably be a part of the 0x std anyway...
