is there a chance for supporting SATA Disks under Windows?
This would be great!
Thanks in advance,

The system calls for SMART support on Windows are identical for PATA and
A typical reason why SMART does not work on Windows is an (S)ATA driver
simulating an SCSI device to the OS.
It is possible for these drivers to provide ATA SMART functionality
also, but this is usually not implemented by the driver vendor.
Please provide more info about your windows version, controller type and
the smartctl error message for further help.
