I installed smartd "version 5.34 [i686-mingw32-2000-sp4]" on English Windows
2000 Terminal Server (Version 5.0 (Build 2195: Service Pack 4)).
Device Type: SCSI (Port:2, Target ID:0, LUN:0)
Hardware Vendor: LSILOGIC 1030 IM SCSI Disk Device
Adapter Name: LSI Logic 1020/1030 Ultra320 SCSI Adapter
File version: 5.00.2195.6655
It is an IBM 1U rack server.
When I run the smartd -d command I got the following message:
"Opened configuration file ./smartd.conf
Drive: DEVICESCAN, implied '-a' Directive on line 23 of file ./smartd.conf
Configuration file ./smartd.conf was parsed, found DEVICESCAN, scanning
In the system's table of devices NO devices found to scan
Unable to monitor any SMART enabled devices. Try debug (-d) option.
What can I do to make smartd work on it?
Thanks in advance, Tamas!
Ps.: I did not find WNASPI32.DLL which was mentioned in INSTALL.txt. There
are the following *aspi* files on this system: C:\DRV\ADAPTEC\ASPI8DOS.SYS,
C:\WINNT\system32\iaspipe.dll and C:\WINNT\system32\dllcacheiaspipe.dll
