This is a single-disk system. The documentation[1] mentions "LSILOGIC-LogicalVolume" compared to the original "SUN72G". I do assume that LSILOGIC/LogicalVolume would be the Vendor/Model values in response to a SCSI INQUIRY command. Since I am not getting LogicalVolume in the readout, I strongly believe that there is no hardware RAID enabled nor running in degraded mode. I am not aware of any freestanding utility (something that is runnable without an OS) that would allow inspection of the HWRAID configuration on OpenBoot. Thus, rerunning smartctl on sg0 returns the same output.
