I have recently come to know about S.M.A.R.T. in debian-user mailing lists and immediately installed the package. I have run the short and long test and there were some errors reported. I have asked help in debian-user mailing list, but most of them suggested to replace the hard drive. Kevin raised the issue of reallocated_event_count. The error numbers 187 to 191 are bothering me and they seem to be outside of Blocks on the hard drive. I am trying to find answers in google. Meanwhile, I thought to ask help here, because the list is specifically targeted at hard drive errors. Please look into the matter and provide me your expert advice or suggestion or solution.
