Attached is (will) be a patch for template-check.
The changes let you specify two new options:
-b Specify the basedir to compare against
-t Specify the theme to use
The reason for these changes is that inorder to use
template-check to see if your theme's templates need
changing, you have to do a make install on the slash
If this is a production box, you can't do a make
install on it until you have updated your theme's
templates and you know your templates will work with
With these changes, instead of having to specify the -u
opt, you can instead tell it the src directory (ie
/usr/local/src/slash) and the themename you want to
compare it with.
Hence, you could
cvs update -dP
./bin/template-check -b /usr/local/src/slash/ -t
and you'd get a diff of everything you need to change
in your templates. make the changes. do a make
install... and well, you'd better hope you checked your
templates tasks and perl scripts, but otherwise you're
good to go.
