I'm having some problems and need some clarification.
I grabbed the latest cvs, setup a machine, installed slash, and installed a
site from it.
Then I added a section via http interface. This was good, because under that
last rtag I couldn't do this w/o errors. (However, clicking edit on an
existing section, such as 'index', still crashes out sometimes. And the
topics are not listing on a newly created section, even though it said it
saved, it's in the sections mysql table, and I've stop/started apache/slashd
after adding the section).
Can someone please explain:
contained section vs collection of sections
and what happened to isolated section?
if I want a section that's totally isolated, one that would only show itself
on an existing slash site by only hitting the subsection.mysite.com subdomain
how do I do it?
does the URL of a section have to be 'http://subsection.mysite.com'; or
what's the a common use for Cookiedomain? to force people to login to a
is the indexhandler supposed to be in the form of '/index.pl' or 'index.pl'
seems it should be 'index.pl' or if you were going to use the page plugin
I put in a few bug reports for all this. Have a look if you want:
<URL: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=4421&atid=104421 >
still exists, I'm seeing the same output. I'm guessing this is already known,
but I'm mentioning it here just incase.
