It will be a single box running everything needed for a Slash site: httpd (with mod_perl), mysql, etc.  Additionally, the box will serve a few low-traffic web-sites -- mostly static (99%) with an occasional PHP CGI.  The Slash site will generate 80%+ of the hits.
