Shared locks are indeed on my to-do list. The client library already supports it, but we need to integrate it into the gui in some fashion that won't get in the way, and I haven't quite settled on how to do that. One approach would be something like this: double-clicking on a resource would place a "default lock" on it (the characteristics of that lock -- type, depth, owner info, timeout --should be user-configurable through a preferences customizer). To place a non-default lock on a resource, the user would have to right-click, select Lock, and then select some options in a Lock dialog before the lock is placed. Ideas?
