I'm proud to present a new fileformat-filter for sketch. It saves a
sketch file as Python-Sourcecode, that produces a PDF using reportlab
This might look like a weird idea, but this is useful if you e.g. have
to create a lot of highly graphical documents where small parts are
varying (e.g. names or titles). You can use this Plugin to generate
Python Sourcecode, then change this Sourcecode (introduce loops that
generate multiple pages, adjust stuff dynamically) and then run this
program to get a single PDF-File with all documents in it.
Grab it here:
copy it in your /usr/lib/sketch-0.6.14/Plugins/Filters/ (or where
your plugins live - you have to adjust a path in the plugin too)
and play with it.
While developing this thing I stumbled across two questions:
- is it possible to place Filter-Plugins in the homedirectory?
- how would I extend the search path in a sane manner when I want
to inherit from an existing filter plugin?

Add the following lines to your ~/.sketch/userhooks.py and put your
plugins to ~/.sketch/Plugins::
from Sketch import config
