Hello,

I'm unable to authenticate to reuters network using N900 native IM client, but everything goes ok when I use the Pidgin client. I installed both Pidgin plugins and the specific Office Communicator plugin for Conversations and Contacts from extras-testing.

Thanks,

Arthur

You have proven that pidgin-sipe works on your device with your OC account. So the problem must be in your telepathy(-haze) or IM Account setup, not pidgin-sipe -> Closing bug as invalid.

    Some guesses:
    - old version of telepathy-haze that doesn't have the "sipe" and the PurpleAccountUserSplit support in it [as far as I remember the correct version was only available in extras-development]
    - missing certificates (telepathy has no UI to ask user to accept certificates) [unlikely, as your account already works with Pidgin]
    - incorrect account settings, e.g. what in Pidgin is on the Basic Tab (User Name, Login Name, Password) is in Maemo IM Accounts in Account data (user & password) and Account options (Login name. If you don't see this field, then telepathy-haze is too old, see above)

You were right; I was using the 0.3.3 version of telepathy-haze. Installed the 0.3.5 from extras-dev as suggested, problem solved.

    Thanks again for the help.
