I'm getting the same problem! It is very odd, for some reason the
newly compiled wget is not resovling inet names.
Note that if you do a "./EnterSGStep" and type wget 'the actual ip
address' of http://www.perl.com, it works. I don't get this, the
/etc/resolv.conf is copied from the host system, so that should be ok.
This could be some type of problem with the way im configuring the
system as whole or some strange interaction wget is having with
libresolv.so, hell, i don't know.
I'm gonna statically build so other net utils, do a EnterSGSTEp and see
if those utils can resolv inet addresses.
