Archive all subdirectories within a directory

    I would like to 7zip each folder (subdirectory) within a directory. 

    What would I type into the command prompt to perform this action?

    Thanks in advance!

    P.S. I didn't see this in the help section of 7-Zip.

    I've actually run into another issue - when I use the 7z command in the command prompt, it just tells me 

    '7z' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

    .

    I have the program installed and am running the GUI right now, so why isn't the command line version working?
