Hi,
I am trying to zip 2 million+ small files into 45GB zips. About 95GB total of data.

Please help.

For 64-bit OS 4GB RAM is too small, and the 32-bit can not address memory above 4 GB boundary. But this is not the main thing - the main thing is the internal limit on the number of objects of GDI and USER imposed by the kernel. For 32-bit Windows kernel does not exceed 100 000 elements onto each type. When this limit is exceeded, the message to the exhaustion of resources. One way out - to complete unnecessary at this point in time the task to free system resources OS. Otherwise, the reaction time OS entered command will grow tends to infinity and cause crashes restart the system.

Do you system RAM and OS installed?
4GB (max)
SBS 2003
What version of 7-zip?
What command do you use?
Try to check "Memory" columns in task manager during that process.

There is problem in Windows 2003, if you use network operations for big files.
