I had a password-protected .7z archive. Then I added files to it, using a different password (one is a prefix of the other, if that matters).
Now I can only view the archive's contents with one of the passwords (the other doesn't work), but I can't extract the files successfully anymore: Extracting always results in a CRC checksum error.
I think it would be necessary to use a different password to extract the files.
Is there a way to restore my files? I found no option in the 7-zip file manager to set different "extraction passwords" for the separate files.
Many thanks in advance!
Add any file to archive via command line:
7z a a.7z a.txt
It will remove file list password.
