Internal benchmark shows great speed and uses all cpu cores
-> perfect :-)
When decompressing a "normal" .zip file only 1 core seem to be uses.
is this ok? Can it be changed?
Which of 7zips actions are multi-threaded like the internal benchmark?
version: windows 9.32 alpha and some versions before with same behaviour...
Many thanks for clarifying this!!
7-Zip can use multithreading during compression.
ZIP decompression is fast enough, if deflate method is used.
many thanks for your answer!
"if deflate method is used" - how does this work? do I have to activate it?
