    Hello!
I have a problem in extracting any rar archives:

    ====================================================================
    7-Zip (A) [64] 9.20 Copyright (c) 1999-2010 Igor Pavlov 2010-11-18
    p7zip Version 9.20 (locale=en_US.UTF-8,Utf16=on,HugeFiles=on,2 CPUs)

    Processing archive: 101-20140301.rar

Error: Can not open file as archive

    Fedora x86_64

It repeats on any rar I have.
    Thanks in advance.

    Please write the log here.
Try another RAR, 7z and zip archive.

    7-zip doesn't support rar ver. 5.0 archives.
So you must check only rar 2/3/4 archives.

    1) you must use 7z
    2) the "list" command must work:
    7z l a.rar
    3) For "extract" command
    7z x a.rar
you need additional "non-free" rar plugin

    zip, 7z - OK
Only problems with rar unfortunately. I like the idea and proposed usability of p7zip, but I still can't understand. I have problems with all rar files! I don't think they all are incorrect, so.
Can you atach a small rar archive that is 100% valid that I will try to extract?
    Thank you.
Or may be I installed it from rpm fusion repo and tha's the problem?

    1) you can create some rar with WinRAR 4.*
    2) please show the log for
    7z l a.zip
    7z l a.rar

Igor Pavlov, Thank you! I've found out that rar-part of your program is extracted from fedora rpms, proof: http://fedora.12.x6.nabble.com/p7zip-plugins-and-rar-extraction-td5003834.html
Sorry for taking your time. Going to install 7zip manually.

Yes, probably fedora's developers don't understand p7zip (7-Zip) structure and license:
    1) There is LGPL'ed code RAR (free code) in 7-Zip, that can list RAR archives.
    2) There is additional RAR plugin that allows also exctract RAR archives (than code doesn't look as 100% free, but actually it's also free in main idea).

But fedora developers have removed also LGPL'ed part (part 1) of RAR code of p7zip.
