Sesame version 2.6.9 is a bugfix release that addresses various bugs and
also contains a few small usability improvemnents. Amongst the
improvements are support in the SPARQL engine for a fixed number of
default namespaces without having to explicitly declare them, a bugfix
in the SPARQL integer division operator, and a fix in the Workbench's
support for the Binary RDF format.
For a complete listing of all fixed issues, see the JIRA Changelog at:
As usual, the latest release can downloaded from http://www.openrdf.org/
and can of course also be found in the Maven repository.
Development focus for Sesame will now shift to a new major release, 2.7.
This new release will contain several improvements in (remote)
transaction handling, and hopefully some great new features like N-Quads
parsing/writing, improved support for bulk uploading, further
improvements in SPARQL 1.1 support, and more. Barring any
mission-critical bugs that turn up, we do not expect to do another 2.6.x
