Have a look at the new screeshot section, showing SENECA in action.
SENECA is currently being ported to the Chemistry Development Kit library (CDK), which is hosted under http://cdk.sourceforge.net
There will be no further release based on the old source tree.
The CDK provides a clean, object-oriented implementation of many standard algorithms in structural chemo- and bioinformatics.
The first version of a SENECA port to the Chemistry Development Kit (CDK, http://cdk.sourceforge.net\) was imported into the CVS today. Currently, only the client part
for this version is working. No CASE runs can thus be performed with this version at the moment. Use the "old" compchem based version of SENECA instead, until the port is completed.
Steinbeck's inital publication on SENECA, titled "SENECA: A Platform-Independent, Distributed and Parallel System for Computer-Assisted Structure Elucidation in Organic Chemistry", has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Chemical Information and Computer Sciences.
