Is there a way to 'substitute' query results on article save? ie. have the wikitext of the output saved right to the article? We use articles with semantic properties to document and manage activities in a manufacturing plant. Each article has a regularly updated 'status' property that is displayed as part of a query that facilitates our meeting agendas. This means the meeting minutes are essentially a snapshot of the activities (article names) and status texts at that moment in time. I can cut/paste this information without too much trouble, but it'd be really slick if there was some way to have it substituted on article save. I can't find any reference to it, so I'm guessing no (it's kind of the exact opposite of SMW's intention). But maybe there is? -- View this message in context: http://wikimedia.7.x6.nabble.com/Template-substitution-of-query-results-tp5050220.html Sent from the Semantic Mediawiki - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
