[Semediawiki-user] [SMW] Using ! in connection with categories

Hi,

Negating a query search, one would normally connect the property
through a "!", so that an exclusive statement [[Type::!Article]] where
property type is defined as [[Has type::String]] find results with
property = type but not contain the combination type = Article.

In cases where type is not a property but replaced with a category,
the query search [[Category:Article]] works as inclusive statement but
as soon as one would tries to use it as an exclusive statement
[[Category:!Article]] the search would not find appropriate results.

We wonder if this is connected to the fact that a Category can not be
defined as String, and if so are their any plans to support ! in
connection with Categories?
