SMW is completely independent from MW Skins as I understand.

http://www.ardorado.com uses custom skin and works fine on SMW, although it's relatively old version, I still believe that there are no skin requirements, but I home Markus or Denny will correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you,

Dear SMW-Users,

does anyone have experiences with different MediaWiki skins (other than monobook or the others that come with MediaWiki)?

I would be interested in finding some options.

There are resources for MediaWiki skins in general:
- http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Skin_projects
But it's not clear if these skins also are 100% compantible for SMW.

Furthermore there is
- http://smwforum.ontoprise.com/smwforum/index.php/Customizing_the_wiki_skins
But im not using SMW+ at the moment, so I'm not sure if the skin requirements for SMW+ are also true for SMW.

Does anyone have some links to skins that work or own skins that are free to use?

Maybe it would also be a good idea to have a page at semantic-mediawiki.org about skin issues and resources?

regards,
Bernhard
