You don't need to resave the page the second time to see the correct value; you just need to refresh it (using the 'refresh' tab), or, as Etienne points out, disable caching; or just wait a while until the cache expires on that page.

Hello,
We have a similar problem and corrected it, in part, by disabling caching on the server. But still, changes to properties value take some time to take effect.

Performance wise, it doesn't seem to be a good idea to disable caching, but we are a small team so it doesn't affect the operations at all.

Objet : [Semediawiki-user] Save a page twice to see the changes of a property value?

Hi All,

Here is my problem simplified in a nutshell.
Page Nederland contains: Nederland has a population of  has population::33300.
and a template Europe
The template Europe simply contains:pop: Save the page and everything is ok.
Now I change contents of the page Nederland to:  Nederland has a population of  has population::33 and save the page.
The change is visible on the page(population of 33), but the template still says pop: 33300.
When I edit the page again and save it, the the template says pop: 33.

This can't be true! What am I doing wrong?

Kind Regards,
JpsNederland
