Hi Jeff,

I am a developer for Digi-Net Technologies and we're
interested in the
possibility of using parts of SellWin for a Lead
Generation/Tracking
plugin for our customer service software title,
Groopz. I've been
trying to install SellWin on a test server here with a
MySQL database,
and everything appears to run relatively smoothly until
I try to log in
with the UI client. When I hit the login button, I get
an exception and
stack trace to my console and a dialog telling me
"could not find inital
context". Here's the first few lines of the stack trace:

[java] javax.ejb.CreateException: could not find
initial context
[java] at
sellwin.server.SellwinSessionBean.ejbCreate(SellwinSessionBean.java:90)
[java] at
sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native
Method)
[java] at
sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39)
.......etc.

When I looked at the line number of the file referenced
by the stack
trace (sellwin/server/SellwinSessionBean.java:90), it
looks like the
problem is happening on line 80 ("InitialContext ic = new
InitialContext();"). Could you possibly shed some
light on what might
be the root cause of this problem, or at least where I
might start
poking around to solve it? It seems like it may be a
JBoss config
problem, but I also want to make sure that it isn't a
problem with my
using MySQL, since I know that you primarily used
Oracle in developing
it. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jon Heese
