I print DVD covers which are downloaded at about 4-times normal size. Typically, I change the resolution from 72 to 288 dpi and then fine tune the size by scaling. Two questions arise:
Why do I always have to set Page Setup to 80% (landscape) to achieve the correct print size (regardless of the original image size)?
In about 50% of cases, the image runs across two pages - it appears to have slid as far as possible to the right (on one page) and just enough down to run about 5% off the page at the bottom. Nothing I do can rectify this. In frustration, I boot up Windows and do the job in IrfanView. How can I solve this problem?
As you know, the print functionality in Seashore isn't very complete. One easy workaround is to save your image in a format that can be read by other programs, and then open it up in a different program, such as Word, or Preview, and then printing from that program.
