Hey, don't know what is wrong but seashore doesn't open. It crashes immediately.
I downloaded Seashore 0.5.1, have a Intel Macbook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.4 on it.
I just can't open it! Which is too bad because I really like the program. In fact, I worked with it before but one day it disappeared from my applications. It was already then crashing every second time I was trying to open it but yeah…I learned to live wiith that i have to open it twice before it works. However, so I downloaded seashore again when it disappeared but now it doesn't open at all as I said.
Is there anyhting I can do? A support thingy I could download or whatever helps the program to open? :(
It sounds like you might have a corrupted preferences file. Please delete the file located at:
Let us know if that works.
OMG, that worked like a charm! Thank you SO much! :)
Mmm, that fixed it for me, too.
I was using 0.1.9 previously, so this might be a consistent problem with running the new version. Probably something that should be expected to happen, and coded around.
Same error, same fix. It started to do this at the previous version, and the update didn't change anything.
Also have Intel Macbook Pro (10.5.6).
I am having a similar issue. Every time seashore closes, gracefully, I have to delete the plist file before it wills tart again. Is there a fix or work around for this besides deleting the file each time?
Can you please log a bug and attach the plist file? If I have the plist I can figure out what's wrong with it that is causing it to crash.
I have the same problem, here's the crash log:
