Hi all! I'm new here, so I thought I'd say hi and ask a question. ;)
I've been doing development on Pac-Man hardware (Z80-based) with ZCC (a
small-C derivative) which is K&R-based, and contains a VERY minimal
amount of support libraries... well, mainly just a crt0.asm, and that's
about it... It makes fairly large code (one 'if' assembled into 53
lines of asm, with a bunch of subroutine calls into the crt0.asm block)
and its crt0 is pretty darn huge. without doing much of anything, I
was already at 3k of binary.
So I figured I'd start out with SDCC, and give it a whire...
Anyhoo, if any of you have already begun work with Arcade hardware, i'd
love to hear about it. I looked through the archives a little, and
didn't find much. I'd love to see an example/sample project, and
such... that would be most helpful..
(dev work is under Solaris and OS X)
