Dear Everybody, I think this is slightly off topic, but anyway must I ask. Does anybody have a working code that reads the LS7166 quadrature decoder? Could you please share it with me? I could not get it work. I read just "0" all the time. I am playing with it, since many days, without any success. Is there a way to ensure, there is a proper communication in between the PIC (my chip is:PIC18f458) and the ls7166? I set up a serial link to my linux box, and the counter value is transmitted to my screen, so I can see the read out continuously. Alex |
