I've built a programmer/target board supporting a choice of processors
of the Motorola 68hc08 family.
I'm trying to set up an IDE, using CodeBlocks and SDCC, based on the ROM
monior inegrated in the chips.
I succeeded in integrating the code functions (go to line, step in, step
out, ecc..) and now I'm working on the "display variable" popup.
I encountered a grat difficulty interpreting the "register" variables.
In the symbol file there is no "registers" betwee the at the end of
the symbol line.
The generated assembler code creates a set of "slocN" variables, which
are shown in the symbol file, but are never correlated with the "local"
variables marked "R" (register).
How can I map the "register" variables to the "slocN" variables?
Is it a bug in the HC08 code generator?
