Hello all, I am trying to work with the sourcecode described in the _ser.c, serial.c and ser_ir.c . Unfortunately: IT DOESN'T WORK !! The first 2 have no effect, the third one outputs an endless series of the first character in my string. I am working with the 80C152JB (on an MCB152 microcontrollerboard (http://www.caseconsole.com/mcb152)), so I modified of course the ser_init() procedures. Does someone have a really working version?? I also tried to write one but I can't get a better result than I have with ser_ir.c Greetings de Jan Jan Van Belle, student S T U D E N T . Hello, I created this serial driver, and have used it successfully in a project. Hope it works for you... -Matt On 9 Nov 2000 jan...@me... wrote: > Hello all, > > I am trying to work with the sourcecode described in the _ser.c, serial.c and ser_ir.c . i have placed an startup example in the cvs tree and on the sdcc-okr web site. both have a file where you can setup everything with #defines like chrystal speed, desired baudrate ... putchar() and getchar() are also ready and you can use printf() Michael Schmitt ----- Original Message ----- From: <jan...@me...> To: <sdc...@li...> Sent: Thursday, November 09, 2000 3:13 PM Subject: [Sdcc-user] Using the LSC with interrupts > Hello all, > > I am trying to work with the sourcecode described in the _ser.c, serial.c and ser_ir.c . Hi, I had the same problem at first but then I realized that I hadn't turned on the serial interrupts (ES and EA). If you haven't done that, I'm sure that's your problem. That's why you only get one char out because all of these files are expecting an interrupt to work.
