This explains the problem I was having in trying to get sdcc
running on MacOS X. I did get the versino from CVS to compile
and submitted a patch to the sdcc project on SourceForge with
the changes needed. The patch will need a few minor changes for
the updates that have gone into CVS since, but it's still fairly
