The mailer didn't like my message for some reason, so here goes again:
I tried using the "--stack-loc 0x80" compiler option, but the map file still
shows SSEG being set to 0x4A (right after my data). Why is this not
working? This is my version information for SDCC.
SDCC : mcs51/gbz80/z80/avr/ds390/pic14 2.3.0 (Sep 20 2001) (UNIX)
I tried building from source, but I get an error during the "make install",
strip doesn't like an option that the Makefile is using, apparently. So I
just downloaded the binary and installed it. Maybe I need to add some kind
of modification to a header (.h) file specific to my CPU??? The linker
seems to be ignoring my "--stack-loc 0x80" option.
