We're trying to build code in SDCC but are hitting a problem - certain
programs when compiled take up huge amounts of memory - I'm talking
about reaching 220 meg before I killed it. I ran sdcc under strace and
saw huge numbers of brk() instructions (100s in a sequence) before a
single write() call, and then hundreds of brk()s again. This continued
until I killed sdcc.
We do have large arrays in our code which seems to trigger the problem,
if its any help.
We've also got a core dump situation, another mail about that will
