Scuttle 0.7.4 won't work properly with 5.3.1 without a couple of modifications
- The timezone setting: Adding "date_default_timezone_set ('Europe/London');" this will fix it. Use PHP supported timezone strings according to your location.
- You need to remove the & symbol from bookmar-, template-, user-, cache-, and tagservice.php files while instantiating a new object (example: was = & new bookmarkservice to = new bookmarkservice) . This should get rid of the PHP notifications.

Note: This was a quick and dirty fix without any testing real testing.

Discussion

  • Scuttle 0.7.5 avoids instantiating by reference, fixing those notices from PHP 5.3.

I'll have to look into the timezones a bit.
