No

I have included a snapshot and a save game file. After defeating Mordack with the rain cloud you can click on Skip to go straight to the final ending sequence when the game crashes.

The saved game doesn't load with my copy of King's Quest 5 (CD, Talkie)

Which version did you use? Were any fan-made patches applied?

I tested the ending of King's Quest 5 using my own saved games and it worked just fine.

Ahhh, one of the files was corrupt. Everything is good now. Thanks.

So this is weird. I'm getting that error again and I don't know why. I've tried using resource files from a different KQ5 CD but it still happens every time. I'm even using a different computer than the one I used last time. I know it's not a huge deal since it's the ending of the game, but I hate missing the awesome music. I've attached a new saved game.

I can not load the saved game, when using my King's Quest 5 CD.

Which .scr files are in your King's Quest 5 directory? What's the size of your resource.000?
    What's inside your VERSION file?
Do you have any .scr files inside your ScummVM directory?

My own saved game during the ending still works absolutely fine.

I'll be damned; I didn't have any .src files in the directory, which I think is the original problem I had and as to why they disappeared again I have no idea. I did have to quickly play through the whole game again because my original save file didn't work, but the ending works fantastic now. Thanks for your quick response and I promise not to bother you anymore.
