I am having the exact same problem with installing scstadmin. Any suggestions?

iscsi-scst & scst both installed fine - just seems to be an issue with scstadmin.

I also have tried just running  make install scstadmin from within the scstadmin directory with the same result.

Below is the error I am receiving.

iSCSI-SCST-02 2.2.x # make scstadm scstadm_install
cd scstadmin && make all
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/sources/2.2.x/scstadmin'
cd scstadmin && make all

/bin/sh: line 0: cd: scstadmin: Not a directory
make[1]: *** [all] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/sources/2.2.x/scstadmin'
make: *** [scstadm] Error 2

It's a bug in the SourceForge "Download GNU tarball" functionality. SourceForge incorrectly converts soft links into regular files while generating a tar ball.
