Ok, I have cTags on my system, and now? Do I have to add it to the helpers or is there any other option that I have to activate (which I haven't found yet)?
I would realy like to use cTags @ screem.

something is broken in the development version, not sure what it is like in the stable version where the changes to the ctags file aren't picked up.  manually running a ctags -R in the site directory then opening the site will cause the symbols side panel to work, but not refresh with changes.

Nothing is actually broken in the dev version, I just hadn't enabled auto updating of the ctags.  There is a checkbox under the site settings dialog.
