2. Discription
While typing a central css style for "td" I opened the
tag and typed
"{
border:1px"

after i pressed the "x" the programm stopped working
and freezed... I tried this a lot of times but
everytime the same thing...

I use screem with KDE and SUSE 10.0

this looks like a bug in libcroco, which is used to parse
the css, no 100% sure though. Adding the closing } before
typing the properties will probably work around it.

    Yeah, this is a killer!

Your work around tip works...you really do know this stuff
    well don't you ;-)

I'm using Ubuntu Breezy with self compiled 0.16.1.

I'm just trying to backport libcroco from Dapper now to see
    if that fixes things...NO :-(

Guess we're stuck with your work-around for now...

I'm having the same problem when entering html, body{height: 100%} in header/style element.
    Screem freezes and shows
    (screem:29050): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtktreeview.c: line 4751 (gtk_tree_view_bin_expose): assertion `has_next' failed.
There is a disparity between the internal view of the GtkTreeView,
and the GtkTreeModel. This generally means that the model has changed
without letting the view know. Any display from now on is likely to
    be incorrect.
