First of all many Thanks for Scintilla and many Thanks for reading 'My-English'. I know it's terrible!

to edit Textfiles, i'd like to describe the format with Annotations (see Attachment)
but the Annotations are limited, first Annotation underneath first Line.
My idea: Annotation above the first Line or SCI_HideLines (also limited) for the first Line.

    Annotations may be added above lines in the future but I have no time to work on this now or in the medium term. The first line can not be hidden as a lot of code depends on there being a first line.

    I tried adding an annotation at line -1, and got nothing. Now I understand.

    But at any other line, you can add the annotation at (line - 1) to get the desired effect.
