Any chance of having support for ASP.NET? File
extensions aspx and ascx.

Similar to ASP, but languages are VB and C#. May
actually be simpler to do as a page can only use one
language. Language can be obtained from Page/Control
Language="VB/C#" at the top of the page. Code is often
between <script runat="server"> tags (content between
client side script tags should use JS or VBS highlighting).

I think that the current server side JavaScript/VB support
could be tweaked to allow C#/VB.Net as well. As I don't
personally use ASP, I won't be working on this.

Is anyone else capable of doing this, or willing to (whether
they personally use it or not - even if they don't use .NET
it could bring in more users)?

There are many people who have worked on Scintilla lexers.
You could try to get others interested on the mailing list.
It is not a goal for me to "bring in more users".
