This would be quite useful in some large pieces of code :
- enable a navigation through back / forward
It allows to go back to the previous edited line and
forward to the line it was before doing a back

At the moment, we have to use Book Marks with Ctrl F2
and it happens often to forget to "mark" and to wish to
have done it...

Visual Studio can open the same file in two different Views (like tabs in SciTE).

This is useful : when you have to deal with some idiot who has copypasted the same buggy piece of code in 10 different places in a large file, then of course each buggy piece of code evolved on its own, you can display two of them side by side, and compare visually.

For me this view ability is a lot better than back/forward because you can actually see the two pieces of code at once.

Back/forward may be useful but I haven't thought about it much and am unlikely to implement it.

SciTE is not a project that will incorporate all possible features, trying to focus on those that are simple and commonly needed. Multiple loaded instances of a file will not be included.
