#925 Phantom chars when using Chinese in TeX command names

When using Chinese characters as TeX commands, font artefacts appear. Parts of the command after the glitch are not recognized by the parser - this is true also for German umlauts.

Apparently a similar problem was found with Perl some time ago:

The examples from the Perl issue:

\中文 (hex 0x4E2D 0x6587)(zhong wen)
\應龍 (hex 0x61C9 0x9F8D) (ying long)

also yield phantom chars with Tex.
