Heya, just thought i would submit a little bug i noted
when trying
to install Scintilla 1.40:

-- snip --

In file included from ../src/DocumentAccessor.cxx:20:
../include/Scintilla.h:575: parse error before `1'
../include/Scintilla.h:575: stray '\' in program
../include/Scintilla.h:576: stray '\' in program
../include/Scintilla.h:577: stray '\' in program
../include/Scintilla.h:578: stray '\' in program
../include/Scintilla.h:579: stray '\' in program

-- snip --

and the error messages keep comming after that.

Trying to compile on Linux, and 1.38 ( both SciTE and
Scintilla
works perfectly )

Hope that will help fixing it.

This is caused by GCC being too picky with continuation
line endings. Avoided by putting all of the macro on one
    long line.
